The most prized Formula 1 car appeared at Zagreb's most famous flea market, continuing the tour promoting the Red Bull Showrun.
The Oracle Red Bull Racing car appeared at the Zagreb auto fair at Hrelić and immediately drew a lot of attention from visitors. Many thought it was a chance to buy it, but to their disappointment, the vehicle was not for sale. It was just a continuation of the tour promoting the spectacular Red Bull Showrun in Zagreb.
In the world of cars, Formula 1 is considered one of the most valuable vehicles. It goes from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just over two seconds, but even more impressive is the speed at which it takes corners. Prices for used examples typically start at 100,000 euros and climb into the millions, depending on the achievements while the racer was part of the elite competition.
The car with which Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel each won four world championships has already been seen at several locations in Croatia. It was spotted near the Stjepan Radić Student Dormitory, on a Jadrolinija ferry line, on the streets of Zagreb, and on Dubrovnik's city walls. Now it has joined the used cars on offer at Hrelić, alongside the sausages and ćevapi that are a usual part of the offerings.
The real demonstration of the car's power is expected on September 27 on Vukovarska Street in Zagreb. Behind the wheel will be David Coulthard, winner of 13 Formula 1 races. It will be an opportunity to showcase violent acceleration, loud tire squeals, and attractive maneuvers.
At the Red Bull Showrun, he will be joined by other masters of motorsport. South African performer Samkelisa "Sam Sam" Thubane is preparing a spinning act in which he jumps out of his BMW and climbs onto the hood while the car continues to spin in circles. Top-notch drifting will be provided by the Red Bull Driftbrothers, known for perfectly synchronized slides.
The organizers also announce surprise guests, so on September 27, Zagreb will host a true celebration of motorsport in Croatia, with the Oracle Red Bull Racing car in the leading role.
