The legendary DJ delivered a spectacular show in Vinkuran last night, extending his set until nearly six in the morning, with Cave Romane once again confirming its status as a unique music destination in the Mediterranean.
One of the greatest and most influential DJs of all time, Carl Cox, took to the decks at the spectacular Istrian quarry Cave Romane for the first time last night. In front of more than 5,000 attendees from Croatia and around the world, with tickets sold out weeks in advance, he delivered a performance that stretched until nearly six in the morning.
The musical warm-up for the evening was handled by Yakka, Pablo Panda, and DJ Jock, and a few hours after midnight, the man who drew people to Istria from all corners of the globe took over the stage. In high spirits, Cox grabbed the microphone several times to address the crowd, further fueling the already electric atmosphere in the quarry.
Despite the approaching morning, the connection between him and the crowd remained strong, and the famous DJ continued to play until almost six in the morning. What followed was a moment many will remember as one of the highlights of the summer. As Carl Cox still stood behind the mixer, the first rays of sunlight appeared above the majestic rocks of Cave Romane, and thousands of people kept dancing. Attendees experienced one of the most beautiful sunrises, marking the end of one of the biggest BSH events ever organized.
Organizer BSH Events once again transformed Cave Romane into a full-scale production experience, blending music, light, and the monumental architecture of the site. This ancient Roman quarry, whose cliffs now serve as a natural backdrop, enables a production that is hard to compare with standard festivals. Combined with top-tier international electronic acts, it has become one of the most unique destinations for electronic music in the Mediterranean.
The event was organized with the support of the Municipality of Medulin and the Medulin Tourist Board. The sold-out Carl Cox concert also carries a story that goes beyond the music itself.
