World-renowned electronic music star DJ Carl Cox performed for the first time at the Istrian quarry Cave Romane on Saturday. Before more than five thousand attendees from Croatia and abroad, his energetic set lasted nearly until six in the morning, confirming this unique location's status as one of the most attractive venues for electronic music in the Mediterranean.
The atmosphere was warmed up during the evening by local DJs Yakka, Pablo Panda, and DJ Jock, preparing the audience for the main act. A few hours after midnight, Carl Cox took to the decks. Visibly in high spirits, he engaged with the crowd through the microphone on several occasions, further elevating the already charged atmosphere in the quarry.
As morning approached, the intensity did not wane. Cox decided to extend his set, and for many, the absolute highlight of the night was the moment when the first rays of sunlight began to rise above the cliffs. Thousands of people continued dancing at dawn, creating a scene that the organizers at BSH Events described as one of the greatest in their history.
The organizers once again leveraged the natural backdrop of the former Roman quarry to create an immersive production experience. The walls of Cave Romane served as a monumental stage where light effects and music merged into a unique whole, tailored to the performance of a major name on the global electronic scene.
In recent years, Cave Romane has become one of BSH Events' signature venues. Its distinctive architecture enables production solutions that are hard to replicate at classic festival sites, and combined with appearances by leading world DJs, it has transformed into a unique destination for electronic music enthusiasts.
