After three days with the kids and a friendly match, the former Croatian coach heads to the UAE for a new challenge.
Zlatko Dalić's fifth football camp in Livno concludes today with a grand spectacle, after which the former Croatian coach will move to the United Arab Emirates. There, he will officially take over as the new head coach of that national team, as confirmed by his inner circle.
From August 8 to 10, Livno hosted a camp where children aged 8 to 14 had the opportunity to learn from some of the biggest names in regional football. Alongside Dalić himself, the coaching staff included Igor Bišćan, Blaž Slišković, Joško Jeličić, and numerous other football experts.
For the final day of the camp, which coincides with today's date, a rich celebration has been organized. At 6 PM, a friendly match is scheduled between the 'Vatreni' team, featuring legends like Igor Štimac, Niko Kranjčar, Robert Jarni, and Vedran Ćorluka, and the 'Livno and Friends' team. After the sports segment, the atmosphere will be further heated up by a concert from Tomislav Bralić and the klapa Intrade.
Dalić is expected to head to the UAE as early as tomorrow, August 12, or at the latest on Thursday, August 13, to formally assume his new role. He will bring his entire coaching staff, which, in addition to the aforementioned Ćorluka, will include Danijel Subašić, Luka Milanović, Marc Rochon, Dražen Ladić, and Marijan Mrmić.
