Dinamo Awaits Resolution of Livaković Saga, Jakić on Torino's Radar

The transfer window in Croatia runs until September 7, and the biggest enigma remains the return of Dominik Livaković to Dinamo. Although the Zagreb club has publicly communicated its desire to bring the national team goalkeeper back to Maksimir since the end of last season, negotiations with Fenerbahçe have not moved from a standstill. According to 24sata, the Turkish club announced two days ago that neither Dinamo nor Olympiacos have yet made an official offer for the 31-year-old goalkeeper. On the other hand, Index.hr reports that Fenerbahçe allegedly already rejected Dinamo's unofficial offer of three million euros plus an additional million through bonuses, while Greek club Olympiacos offered six million euros.
Livaković's priority, as 24sata learns, is exclusively Dinamo or a move to a top-five league; he is even willing to forgo part of his salary, but two key prerequisites have not yet been met: an agreement with him on personal terms and an agreement with Fenerbahçe on the transfer fee.
While the Livaković saga continues, Dinamo is simultaneously exploring other goalkeeping options. Current goalkeepers Ivan Filipović (31), who played in the away match against Thun, and reserves Ivan Nevistić (27) and Danijel Zagorac (39) are not long-term solutions, writes 24sata. Two former Dinamo players are in the mix: Oliver Zelenika (33) from Varaždin and Dinko Horkaš (27) from Las Palmas.
Zelenika, according to 24sata, is a proven HNL goalkeeper and a Dinamo product who made 23 senior appearances back in the 2013/14 season. Coach Mario Kovačević would gladly have him in the squad, and Zelenika is also a "locally trained player" crucial for Champions League registration. Varaždin has benched him after he refused a new contract. The final decision, however, rests with board members Zvonimir Boban, Dario Dabac, and Albert Capellas.
Dinko Horkaš, whose market value is five million euros and whose release clause is as high as 30 million, could return at a more favorable price, claims 24sata. Horkaš is interested in a return, and his several seasons in the Spanish Segunda División have also attracted interest from Scottish club Celtic. In addition, through his connections, Capellas is targeting a young Spanish goalkeeper whose name is not yet known.
Kristijan Jakić, a Croatian midfielder from Augsburg, could continue his career in Italy. As reported by Tuttomercatoweb and relayed by Index.hr, Torino has renewed its interest in the 27-year-old and considers him an ideal midfield reinforcement. The German club is demanding a fee of around five million euros.
Alongside the Livaković saga and Jakić, the transfer window brings several other news items. According to Index.hr, Osijek will be left by as many as ten players, Dinamo has sent an official offer for Noah Nsoki from PSG, and Branimir Mlačić is going on loan from Udinese. Galatasaray has shown interest in Croatian striker Franjo Ivanović, while Ivan Perišić, contrary to some speculation, is not on Inter Milan's radar.
GNK Dinamo posted an appeal on its official Twitter profile to season ticket holders for the preparatory match against Thun.

The deadline for giving up tickets is Monday, July 27, at 11:59 PM, and as they note, three out of four stands at Maksimir are already sold out three days before the match.
