GNK Dinamo announced on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, all the details regarding ticket sales for the first UEFA Champions League play-off match against Norwegian side Viking. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, with a 9 PM kick-off at Maksimir Stadium, and the club sent a clear message to fans: "Let's go for the Champions League together!"
The Croatian champions secured their place in the play-offs with a convincing victory in the third qualifying round against Lithuanian side Kauno Žalgiris. After winning 5-0 in Zagreb, they triumphed 2-1 in the return leg in Kaunas, despite playing with a man down from the 32nd minute. An aggregate score of 7-1 brought them one step closer to the league phase of Europe's elite competition.
Ticket sales will take place in two phases. A priority window for club members begins on Wednesday, August 12, at 11 AM and will run until Thursday, August 13, at 11:59 PM. General sales for all fans start on Friday, August 14, also at 11 AM, and will conclude on matchday, August 18, at 9:45 PM.
Individual ticket prices vary depending on the stand and the buyer's status. For the lower West stand, members will pay €23, while other fans pay €28. For the upper West stand, the price for members is €18, and for others €23. The most affordable tickets are for the lower North stand, priced at €12 and available exclusively to club members.
Dinamo emphasized that season tickets are valid for this match, but the free membership ticket benefit will not apply against Viking. Season ticket holders who cannot attend the match can transfer their seat to another fan through the club's service, no later than Tuesday, August 18, at 12 PM.
The return leg will be played on Wednesday, August 26, in Stavanger, Norway, also with a 9 PM kick-off. The winner of the tie will secure a spot in the league phase of the Champions League, while the loser will continue their European journey in the Europa League league phase.
Viking are the current Norwegian champions, having won the title last year for the first time since 1991. The club from Stavanger reached the top of Norwegian football after an impressive rise, considering they were playing in the second division as recently as 2018.
