While the situation regarding Dominik Livaković is still being resolved, Dinamo has been offered Southampton goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu (24). He is a Republic of Ireland international whose professional profile has been presented to Zvonimir Boban in recent days.
The potential transfer fee has not been disclosed yet, but the financial terms are reportedly acceptable for the Zagreb club, which could retain 30 percent of any future sale. "At least that's what our source suggests," notes a Večernji list journalist.
Bazunu spent much of his youth development at Manchester City, playing for their youth team in the UEFA Youth League against Dinamo's youngsters in 2019. A year later, in August 2020, he was included in Manchester City's senior squad for the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Real Madrid.
Večernji list highlights that the advantage of this signing is that Bazunu is a young player with international status. Dinamo's coaching staff will assess in the coming days how interesting the offer from England truly is.
Meanwhile, Dinamo is preparing for an important match at Maksimir scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, at 9 PM. The club has called on fans via its official Twitter profile to fill the stadium: "Tomorrow, all as one, from the pitch to the stands! A Maksimir evening to remember awaits, and tickets are only left for the North stand - call your parents, neighbors, friends... let's fill that stand too and write history together!"

Zvonimir Boban addressed fan groups on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the BBB.
