The fourth Croatian Knights event on August 22 in Dugovača Bay combines top-tier international boxing, patriotism, and a seaside summer atmosphere.
The small Dalmatian town of Drage will become the center of an international boxing spectacle on August 22, 2026. In Dugovača Bay, right by the sea, the 4th Croatian Knights will take place, an event dedicated to Croatian veterans that draws increasing attention year after year.
The organizers have released an emotional promotional video that, through the lens of Drage, its people, and history, connects the past and present, Croatian knights and today's sports fighters who will enter the ring on Saturday at 7:30 PM.
The unique location in Dugovača Bay will provide a special backdrop, a ring set just meters from the sea, floodlights under the open sky, and a summer evening will turn Drage into one of the most attractive boxing stages on the Adriatic.
The competition is expected to feature boxers from Croatia and various European countries, including young talented athletes, national team members, and winners of national and international awards. Special emphasis will be placed on local boxers, for whom Croatian Knights provides an opportunity for quality international matches in front of a home crowd.
Since its first edition, Croatian Knights has not been conceived solely as a sporting competition. The event is held in honor of Croatian veterans, with the aim of promoting values such as courage, discipline, respect, sacrifice, and unity through sport.
In addition to top-tier boxing matches, visitors will enjoy musical and stage performances, as well as various unexpected content. The organizers aim to deliver an unforgettable evening, a major sports and entertainment event for the local population and the many tourists visiting the area during the summer.
Behind the organization is the Ares Diabolik Boxing Club, which has been continuously working in recent years to promote boxing, young athletes, Zadar, and Zadar County. After this year's 4th Damir Zrilić Memorial at Zadar's Forum, the organizational team faces a new challenge: moving the ring from the historic city center directly to the seafront.
Prior to the event, video teasers, competitor presentations, interviews, and interesting behind-the-scenes content will be released, and promotion will continue after the fights through professional photos, video clips, and reports.
