Turkish football powerhouse Galatasaray has submitted an official offer to Stuttgart for Ermedin Demirović, the Bosnia and Herzegovina international, according to Turkish journalist Tolgahan Demir. The news comes as the 28-year-old striker has been heavily linked with Juventus in recent days.
According to reports from Turkey, the Istanbul club sees Demirović as the ideal partner for Victor Osimhen at the top of the attack. A potential arrival of the Bosnian international would give Galatasaray a duo with completely different yet complementary characteristics.
The financial aspect could be the Turkish champions' main selling point. Galatasaray is in a position to offer its biggest stars highly lucrative contracts, so a potential offer for Demirović could be significantly higher than what he currently earns in Germany.
Galatasaray is not the only European giant linked with Demirović. According to reliable sources in Italy, the Bosnian striker is also on Juventus's wish list as they seek additional firepower for their attacking line. The Old Lady's first choice is Joshua Zirkzee, with Demirović mentioned as a serious option if Juventus fails to secure the Dutch forward's transfer.
From a sporting perspective, Demirović faces a significant decision. Stuttgart will compete in the Champions League, and the striker has been playing in the Bundesliga, one of Europe's strongest leagues, for years. Consistency at that level is also crucial for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
Over the past two seasons, Demirović has played 87 matches for Stuttgart, recording 32 goals and 11 assists. His physical strength, off-the-ball work, ball retention skills, and consistency in front of goal have made him one of Stuttgart's key players.
Before joining Stuttgart, he played for Freiburg, Augsburg, St. Gallen, Sochaux, and Alavés. Now, the 28-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international could be facing one of the biggest decisions of his career so far.
