'Zagreb Specialists' Actors Reveal the Atmosphere on Set

RTL's new series "Zagreb Specialists" tells the story of four police inspectors with different personalities and methods who solve complex cases on the streets of Zagreb. As the premiere on RTL and the Voyo platform on September 7, 2026 approaches, the lead actors have revealed what goes on behind the cameras and what the atmosphere on set is like.
Although this is their first collaboration, Vini Jurčić, Peđa Gvozdić, Toni Gojanović, and Ivan Barišić do not hide their enthusiasm for their colleagues. Gojanović pointed out that casting is always uncertain because you can't predict whether actors will click professionally and personally, but in this case, the necessary "click" happened right away.
"We're really a great team, and I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to work with these people. It's not the same who you spend so much time with. You know, casting is a strange thing. You can choose the perfect cast for each role, but you can never know in advance what the synergy will be like among those people and whether they'll get along professionally and personally," Toni Gojanović said for Net.hr.
Vini Jurčić revealed that even at the first rehearsal, she felt the collaboration would be successful, and today, several months after filming began, she feels like she's known her colleagues much longer. She added that there's a lot of laughter and joking on set, but they equally seriously discuss scenes and preparation.
"Sometimes the schedule brings a really large number of scenes, across several locations, but there's never a shortage of laughter. I genuinely look forward to every day on set because ultimately, it's the people who make the job, and it's by the people that you remember projects. We laugh and joke a lot, but we also talk seriously about scenes and preparation. Each of us has our own way of working, and I find that really endearing, but I think what connected us the most is that we're, above all, simple people who love their job," Vini Jurčić stated for Net.hr.
Peđa Gvozdić believes the audience will feel that connection after just the first episode. He emphasized that all the actors are excellent, good people, and unpretentious, and great mutual respect is crucial when you spend more time with colleagues than with family. He also praised the entire crew behind the camera, from directors and cinematographers to makeup artists, costume designers, and lighting, noting that days on set literally flew by.
"They're all excellent actors, good people, unpretentious-it's always easy and pleasant to work with people like that. There's also great mutual respect, which is extremely important in situations where you spend more time with these people than with your family. Such a connection among actors is always visible and felt on screen," Peđa Gvozdić said for Net.hr.
The youngest among them, 28-year-old Ivan Barišić, admitted that he learns and absorbs knowledge from his more experienced colleagues. He pointed out that everyone works at full capacity and is exceptionally talented, and their main goal is to deliver a great series to viewers.
"Because my colleagues Peđa, Vini, and Toni work at full capacity and are exceptionally talented. We also have the best crew behind the camera; it's truly an honor to work with such an excellent and professional team. And most importantly, we all really care about bringing viewers a great series!" Ivan Barišić conveyed for Net.hr.
The series "Zagreb Specialists" arrives on RTL and the Voyo platform on September 7, 2026, and viewers will be able to watch it on Mondays in prime time.
