According to The Verge, the Pixel 11 Pro initially appears to be a year of refinement rather than radical redesign. A day before the hardware event, Google boasted impressive numbers for its Gemini app. CEO Sundar Pichai announced that Gemini now has over one billion monthly users, making it the fastest-growing product in the company's history and the 14th to reach that milestone. Josh Woodward from Google's Gemini team revealed that 63% of users now speak directly to the Gemini assistant, and busy parents are 43% more likely to use voice commands for everyday tasks. More than 60 new regional dialects are also being introduced soon.
Google also announced progress on its healthcare AI model, AMIE, developed by Google Research and Google DeepMind teams. According to Google for Health, AMIE can now conduct real-time video consultations.
