A video filmed in a restaurant in Sarajevo, where Woody Harrelson performs a song with Goran Navojec, Goran Višnjić, and Joško Lokas, quickly spread on social media. Bosnian-Herzegovinian hairdresser Senad Čavdar shared the video showing the cheerful group at Restaurant Luka, where they all sang together.
In the video, Navojec performs Mišo Kovač's hit "Malo mi je jedan život s tobom," and soon the other guests at the table, including Harrelson, join in. The gathering continued at another restaurant in Sarajevo, and Harrelson was earlier spotted in the relaxed company of the actors at Restaurant Kibe Mahala. The video has been viewed by several thousand people, with comments such as: "Enjoy, and we enjoy too," "Beautiful people with good hearts," "Wonderful," "Now that's something."
Harrelson is in Sarajevo for the film festival, where he was presented with the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo last night at the Metalac venue. This is the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival, and the award was given for his overall contribution to the art of film. Upon receiving the award, he stated that this recognition means more to him than any other.
"I was here 30 years ago... Time has flown by. Because of filming the movie you're about to see, I met Goran Višnjić, who is here with us tonight. Goran, where are you? He has remained a dear friend and is probably the greatest Croatian actor - except for the footballers, who are anyway the best actors," said Harrelson, making the audience laugh.
In his speech, he also mentioned actress Emira Nušević, who was only 11 years old when they filmed the movie "Welcome to Sarajevo," in which Harrelson played a war correspondent.
"I was also thrilled when I heard, and I just found out, that Emira Nušević is here. She was an 11-year-old girl when we filmed that movie. Where are you, Emira? There you are! Her youngest daughter is now older than she was then. She was 11," the actor added.
Klix.ba reports a slightly more detailed version of his address, in which Harrelson, among other things, emphasizes: "I came here 30 years ago... Time simply flew by. But to make this film you're about to watch, I met Goran Višnjić, who is with us tonight. Goran, where are you? He has remained my dear friend and is probably the greatest Croatian actor, except for the footballers, who are always the best actors."
Harrelson continued, according to Klix.ba, adding that he was happy to learn that Emira Nušević was present, recalling that she was 11 when they filmed the movie. The video of the gathering sparked a wave of positive reactions on social media, and Čavdar wrote alongside the video: "I love these choreographies... a likable bunch... SWEET DREAMS... and maybe dawns too."
