On Tuesday, Hajduk's players completed their final preparations ahead of the second leg of the Conference League third qualifying round against Žalgiris. The match at Poljud is scheduled for Wednesday at 9 PM, with the Split side entering the game with a three-goal advantage from the first leg in Vilnius, where they triumphed 5:2.

In the first leg, Hajduk was led to victory by Šego with two goals, while Pajaziti, Dalisson, and Pukštas each added one. For the home side Žalgiris, Petković and Capan were on the scoresheet.
After the European encounter, the Split side played a league match on Sunday in the 2nd round of the HNL against Istra 1961, which ended in a 2:2 draw. Pukštas gave Hajduk the lead in the 15th minute, Frederiksen equalized in the 42nd, and Livaja restored the advantage for the Whites in the 84th minute. However, in stoppage time, Ahmeti scored to make it 2:2.
