The Croatian Football Federation has reported to the Ministry of the Interior the emergence of fake websites mimicking official ticket sales channels.
On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) issued an official warning to fans about fake websites posing as their authorized ticket sales channels. According to the Federation, these sites closely mimic the appearance and content of legitimate distribution channels, which could mislead users into drawing the wrong conclusions.
The main danger lies in the fact that such sites can lead fans to purchase tickets that are not valid, resulting in direct financial loss. Additionally, there is a risk of unauthorized collection and misuse of personal and financial data that users leave on these fraudulent portals.
Due to the detected fraud, HNS has taken legal and security measures and has officially reported the appearance of these fake sites to the Ministry of the Interior (MUP). The Federation emphasizes that it is taking all necessary steps to protect fans and prevent the further spread of these fraudulent portals.
Fans are strongly advised to purchase tickets exclusively through the official ticket portal and to avoid sales sites reached via suspicious links. These links are most commonly shared on social media, through unverified ads, private messages, or other unofficial channels.
HNS calls on the public to act responsibly and warns fans not to enter personal data or bank card information on sites whose authenticity they cannot confirm with certainty. The Federation exclusively publishes all official information about the start, conditions, and method of ticket sales through its official communication channels.
