Drivers in Karlovac can expect new temporary traffic regulations today. Starting at 9:00 AM, at the intersection of the expressway and Banija Street, specifically at the junction with Prilaz Većeslava Holjevca, work is underway to install a panoramic vehicle detection camera.
Due to the works, the middle traffic lane designated for straight-through traffic is closed to all traffic, in the direction from Banija towards the Karlovac toll station. The city administration has secured the work site with appropriate temporary signage and a patrol vehicle to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow.
"During the works, the middle traffic lane for straight-through traffic will be temporarily closed, from the direction of Banija towards the Karlovac toll station. The work site will be secured with appropriate temporary traffic signage and a patrol vehicle to enable safe traffic flow," the City of Karlovac announced.
The works are being carried out by the company Semafor d.o.o., and the camera itself will be installed from the sidewalk. For this reason, the city administration states that no significant disruptions to traffic flow are expected. Nevertheless, road users are urged to exercise extra caution and patience and to adhere to the temporary traffic signage in place.
