Kim Kosanović Soldo (32), a psychologist and former model, along with her husband Bruno Soldo, is expecting a new addition to the family. In late August 2026, a baby boy will arrive, and they have chosen the name Kai for him. The birth is planned via cesarean section at Zagreb's Petrova Hospital.
Kim revealed that they chose the name Kai because of its special significance. In Scandinavian countries, it means "pure soul," while in Chinese culture, it symbolizes a victor. The birth is scheduled for August 31, 2026, and a cesarean section is necessary due to her health condition following the stroke she suffered in 2017, when she was only 22 years old.
Despite earlier health challenges, the pregnancy has gone smoothly. "Throughout the entire period, I felt great," Kim shared.
The first sign of pregnancy was unusual fatigue, and interestingly, it was her husband Bruno who suspected they were expecting before she even took a test. They will soon become parents, and preparations for the baby's arrival are almost complete; the only thing they still need is a crib. Bruno has taken over most household chores so she can rest.
"I know he will be a great father. I would love our son to be just like him," Kim told Gloria.
After the birth, she will receive great support from her mother and mother-in-law. Due to epilepsy, which is a consequence of the stroke, it is crucial that she is not alone with the baby initially. Her greatest excitement is the first meeting with her son, and she can't wait to discover his personality and whose features he will inherit.
