Croatia's most famous magician and Petra Zrilić, fifteen years his junior, tied the knot in June 2025 at Zagreb's Old City Hall, but the marriage lasted less than a year.
The love story between magician Luka Vidović and croupier Petra Zrilić ended before they could celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Vidović, Croatia's most renowned magician and son of acting legends Ivica Vidović and Mirjana Majurec, confirmed the news of the divorce to Gloria.
"We got divorced, but I won't go into details," Vidović said briefly, adding that he is currently fully focused on his work. He is based in Umag, where he performs daily, and with his show "What's the Trick?" he is currently captivating audiences across Istria. He later confirmed the divorce reports to Story, noting that no further clarification was needed: "Yes, it's true that we got divorced. I don't have much more to add."
The couple said their fateful "I do" on June 21, 2025, in front of family and friends at Zagreb's Old City Hall. After the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Trajbar Equestrian Club. It was a special day for the couple, although Luka's parents, the late actors Mirjana Majurec and Ivica Vidović, were notably absent. Ivica passed away in 2011, and Mirjana in 2022, but Luka expressed his belief that they would have been immensely proud of him.
Their love had flourished for four and a half years before they married, and in early 2025, Luka proposed to Petra in a manner typical of him, using a fiery trick he performed for the first time. The proposal went off without a hitch, and a few months later, the couple sealed their relationship with marriage.
Luka and Petra's relationship was dynamic from the start, shaped by the fact that their professional commitments often took them to different corners of the globe. Petra, who hails from Našice, works as a casino game presenter at world-class casinos and poker tournaments, frequently traveling for work. The Bahamas, Ireland, Norway, Spain, Malta, and Estonia are just some of the countries where she has worked. Due to the nature of her job and constant travel, their love story was marked by maintaining a long-distance relationship from the very beginning.
She also gladly accompanied Luka on his guest appearances. In late 2023, she joined him in New York, where he performed in the popular American magic live show "Monday Night Magic." That show has been running for nearly three decades at the Cutting Room theater on Broadway.
