On the red carpet, names from the original cast appeared: Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Chad Lindberg. However, the arrival of a special guest, Meadow Rain Walker, daughter and only child of the late actor Paul Walker, drew the most attention and emotion.
Actor Paul Walker, who portrayed the legendary Brian O'Conner, died in November 2013 in a severe car accident during the filming of the seventh installment of the franchise. His untimely death left a significant void in the film industry, but the cast has always looked after his daughter.
