Police officers from the Criminal Police Service, Drug Crime Department, have completed a criminal investigation into a 21-year-old man suspected of the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs. The young man was handed over to the custody supervisor of the Šibenik-Knin Police Administration, and a criminal report was forwarded to the competent state attorney's office in Šibenik.
According to information from the Šibenik-Knin Police Administration, the arrest occurred on Monday, August 10, 2026, in the afternoon hours in the area of Šibenik. Officers from the Drug Crime Department were conducting preventive measures aimed at detecting and prosecuting drug-related crimes.
During this operation, they noticed a man whose behavior seemed suspicious. During the procedure, a total of 20 PVC bags filled with cocaine were found and seized from the 21-year-old. Subsequent weighing determined that the total gross weight of the confiscated drugs was 16.7 grams.
The suspect was immediately arrested and brought to the official police premises, where a criminal investigation was conducted. After the investigation was completed, the 21-year-old was handed over to the custody supervisor.
A criminal report was filed against him on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Drugs," and the entire case is now in the hands of the competent state attorney's office in Šibenik.
