An exhibition match marking the 30th anniversary of the Plazma Youth Sports Games will bring together football and sports legends in Split, broadcast live on RTL2 and Voyo.
A grand all-star exhibition football match will take place on Friday, August 21, at 9 PM at Split's Prokurative, celebrating three decades of the Plazma Youth Sports Games. This one-hour sports spectacle will feature an impressive lineup of world football stars, legends from other sports, and distinguished guests, with live coverage available on RTL2 and the Voyo platform.
On the field, a team of young participants from the Plazma Youth Sports Games will face an all-star squad led by UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin and PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Among the football legends set to play are Luka Modrić and Zlatan Ibrahimović, alongside Croatian greats such as Predrag Mijatović, Slaven Bilić, Mario Stanić, Aljoša Asanović, Darijo Srna, and Šime Vrsaljko.
Joining the roster are regional and world stars: Nemanja Vidić, Nemanja Matić, Aleksandar Kolarov, Aitor Karanka, Marcel Desailly, Fernando Hierro, Emir Spahić, Vedad Ibišević, Dejan Savićević, and Zlatko Zahovič.
The one-hour spectacle won't be reserved solely for footballers. At Prokurative, legends from other sports will also take the field, including boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk, handball great Nikola Karabatić, tennis icons Goran Ivanišević and Ana Ivanović, basketball experts Željko Obradović, Predrag Danilović, Goran Dragić, Ettore Messina, Radoslav Nesterović, Nikola Vujčić, and Dino Rađa, as well as British journalist Alastair Campbell.
The match will be commentated by RTL's expert sports journalist Filip Brkić, while reporter Maja Oštro Flis will bring stories and reactions from the field in Split. The encounter between young athletes and their idols marks thirty years of the Plazma Youth Sports Games, an initiative that unites generations through sport and promotes a healthy lifestyle, tolerance, and fair play.
