According to AS, a ball hit Mourinho's glasses during training and shattered them, leaving him with an injury near his eye. Despite this, it was confirmed that the coach is in good condition and that it will simply take time for the swelling to subside.
The injury did not hinder Mourinho, who expressed satisfaction with his team's level of play during the preseason period after the match. "Tactically, the ideas are gradually becoming clearer. The players have top quality, actually incredible quality. We are working excellently as a team, both with and without the ball. I think it was a very good experience, as well as an excellent final training session before the serious work begins," said Mourinho.
He emphasized that friendlies are just a step along the way, stressing that the real challenge begins with competitive matches. "The serious work is competition and fighting for points. That's what we love, and we'll soon get to that," he added.
