Anti-corruption operation in Kyiv targets Iryna Mudra, deputy head of the Ukrainian president's office, and lawmaker Vadym Stolar.
For the Kyiv Independent, a police source familiar with the investigation confirmed that NABU agents conducted a search this morning in Kyiv at the offices of Iryna Mudra, who serves as deputy head of the office of President Volodymyr Zelensky, and at the offices of parliamentary lawmaker Vadym Stolar.
NABU stated that they are "conducting a special operation aimed at exposing a criminal organization allegedly led by current and former Ukrainian parliamentarians, involving senior officials from the President's Office." The investigative team said that additional information about the entire operation will be released later.
In December 2025, NABU filed charges against five lawmakers from President Volodymyr Zelensky's Servant of the People party, accusing them of accepting cash in exchange for votes in parliament.
According to findings from police sources for the Kyiv Independent in April 2026, investigators also searched the premises of an aide to David Arakhamia, who heads the parliamentary faction of the Servant of the People party, that same month.
Citing its own sources, the Ukrainian media outlet Ukrainska Pravda reported in July 2026 that NABU had earlier that month obtained court orders allowing it to collect biological samples from Arakhamia's aide, all as part of the investigation into suspicious cash payments to lawmakers.
