Immediately after the Dubrovnik bridge, in the direction of the city, a traffic accident occurred on Thursday, causing traffic on that section of the Adriatic Highway (DC8) to be currently regulated by the traffic police.
On the A3 Bregana-Lipovac motorway, drivers face increased traffic on the approach to the construction zone between the Lučko and Zagreb zapad interchanges, at kilometer 15+300, where vehicles are moving in a slow-moving column with occasional stops.
A truck breakdown in Dugopolje, before the entrance to the Podi roundabout in the direction of Sinj on the DC1 Sinj-Split state road, is causing temporary traffic regulation. Due to a traffic accident, the DC44 road near Buzet is closed, and increased traffic is also recorded on the Krk Bridge (DC102) in both directions. Occasional slowdowns on the A1 Zagreb-Ploče-Karamatići motorway occur in the areas of toll stations, rest areas, and tunnels.
Strong bura wind has caused a ban on traffic for vehicles of the first group on the section of the Adriatic Highway between Novi Vinodolski and Karlobag, the ban applies to motorcycles, vehicles with trailers, and double-decker buses.
On the A2 Zagreb-Macelj motorway, traffic is only in the driving lane: from km 17+500 to 13+750 in the direction of Macelj, on the Krapina - Đurmanec section, and from km 6+700 to 8+200 in the direction of Zagreb, on the Trakošćan - Đurmanec section.
Drainage rehabilitation on the A3 between the Popovača and Kutina interchanges in the direction of Lipovac, from km 90+700 to 93+800, lasts until September 1, with traffic running in two narrowed lanes. Works between the Sveta Nedelja and Zagreb zapad interchanges, from km 12+480 to 15+300, will last until October 3 with the carriageway closed in the direction of Lipovac and two-way traffic on the carriageway in the direction of Bregana.
For August 14, 2026, HAK predicts crowds and delays on most roads leading to the sea, especially on motorways, approaches to tourist destinations along the Adriatic Highway (DC8), the Solin-Klis expressway (DC1), the Krk Bridge, and certain state roads.
From 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, a ban on traffic for goods vehicles with a maximum permissible mass over 7.5 tons will be in force on state roads along the Adriatic coast. Waiting times in passenger traffic are expected at the border crossings of Gornji Varoš, Ličko Petrovo Selo, Svilaj, Bajakovo, Karasovići, and Tovarnik.
