Residents of Zadar will welcome the New Year at multiple locations with a rich program that bridges generations.
Zadar will mark the entry into 2027 with a music program at several city locations, and according to reports from Slobodna Dalmacija, the biggest names set to entertain the crowds are now known. The main stars of New Year's Eve will be Nina Badrić, the Big CroDance Party spectacle, and the legendary Psihomodo Pop.
The main stage at Petra Zoranića Square will belong to Nina Badrić, one of Croatia's biggest pop and R&B singers with a career spanning over three decades. The audience can expect her timeless hits, after which the atmosphere will heat up further with the Big CroDance Party, a musical-stage show that brings back the golden age of the domestic dance scene of the 1990s. With dancers and production that will turn the square into a large open-air dance floor, the stage will feature performances by Grupa ET, Simplicia, Senna M, Ilan Kabiljo, and Alka Vuica.
Fans of heavier sounds will not be left out. At the Zadar Market, as part of the 'Božići gramofon' program, Psihomodo Pop will perform. The band led by Davor Gobac promises another energetic concert full of rock hits.
"These are hits we recognize from the very first notes, a sort of homage to the domestic music scene of the 1990s. I think people of all generations from our city will dance to them. There is no need to say more about Nina Badrić and Psihomodo Pop, both Nina and Davor Gobac and his crew have been on the music scene for decades and have made a huge contribution to Croatian entertainment," said Mayor Šime Erlić for Slobodna Dalmacija, emphasizing that the goal is to continue expanding the Advent in Zadar event to as many locations as possible and further enliven the city route from Pet bunara to Forum.Advent Starts on City Day
Traditionally, Advent in Zadar begins on November 24, 2026, on the feast of St. Krševan and City Day. The Zadar Tourist Board announces that the full Advent program will soon be presented, along with a series of novelties that will mark this year's holiday season.
