Filip Juričić, the main protagonist of the series, explained the core of the plot: "Life circumstances will bring together completely different people who find themselves in different situations, but they all share one thing in common. They want to escape a life they are not happy with. By a twist of fate, they are forced to lie and form a pact to survive together."
The first hints about the mysterious characters come from a humorous promo spot filmed on the set of Nova TV's long-running hit "Kumovi." The teaser features well-known characters Lara and Vesna Gotovac, who, during a casual cocktail gathering, are drawn to a newspaper article about three people on the run.
