Instead of the previous temporary traffic solution, a new roundabout has been installed, which will improve traffic flow and safety in the eastern part of the city.

The company Ceste Rijeka d.o.o. was in charge of the construction work, with approximately 30 workers involved, using 20 different types of machinery. During the works, around 900 tons of asphalt were used, and approximately 9,500 square meters of surface area were renovated. The total value of the project is estimated at around €250,000.

As part of the works, old curbstones were replaced, part of the pedestrian path was renovated, and new horizontal traffic signage was installed.
