In Vela Luka last night, as part of the 'Trag u beskraju' event, the promotion of the monograph 'Oliver - Sve nježne riječi svijeta' by Zoran Ćurić took place. In the atrium of the Center for Culture, members of the late musician's family and many well-known public figures gathered.
As reported by Večernji list, Vesna Dragojević arrived with her sons Dino and Davor. Among the guests were singer Marko Tolja and the nearly wedded couple, Ante Gelo and Jelena Perčin. Photographs by Zvonimir Barišin (Pixsell) captured touching moments.
The festival in honor of Oliver Dragojević runs from July 26 to 31, 2026, in his hometown. According to Tportal, Ante Gelo was again key to the organization and the musical part of the program. He also presented his sheet music book 'Oliver za gitaru', and with his band, he is responsible for the atmosphere after the TV broadcast.
Special attention was drawn by the arrival of Jelena Perčin, who does not leave her husband on the island. The couple said their fateful 'yes' at an intimate ceremony in mid-July 2026, and returning to Korčula is particularly emotional for them. Jelena, as Tportal writes, arrived with her 17-year-old daughter Lota, offering him great support.
At the promotion, and earlier in joint photos, Vinko Barčot was seen, Oliver's longtime friend and lyricist for songs like 'Kad mi dođeš ti' and 'Zemlja dide mog'. In an interview with Večernji.hr, he revealed how the sea brought them together.
"Well, the two of us found each other even though we weren't looking. Our fishing has lasted over 30 years of very intense friendship,"Barčot said. He added that Oliver, despite his illness, invested his "last atom of strength" to sing him the final demo recording.
The highlight of the event is scheduled for tonight, July 29, 2026, when the traditional 'Trag u beskraju' concert will be held on the waterfront in Vela Luka in memory of the unforgettable Oliver Dragojević. As usual, the atmosphere will last until late into the night.
