Initiatives have been launched to support the family of the deceased Dragana Antešević, as well as all those who lost their homes, property, and basic necessities.

In the fire that left behind ashes and immense material damage, the greatest and irreplaceable tragedy occurred: a young life was lost. Dragana Antešević (34) lost her life under tragic circumstances, and her family is facing indescribable grief and trauma.
This year, Dragana came to Balića Rat for the first time, where she worked diligently with her sister Nikolina, who has been working there seasonally for many years, to secure a better life for their family. Even before this tragedy, the family was in a very difficult financial situation.
In addition to the immense pain, the family is facing the costs of transporting Dragana's remains to Bosnia and Herzegovina, a dignified farewell, and continuing their daily life under already challenging conditions. As a sign of compassion for their tragic fate, the Inner Wheel Club Split, citizens of Omiš, and well-meaning individuals have launched an appeal for help. Donations are sent directly to the account of Dragana's sister Nikolina, and the published details and barcode have been verified and represent the official channel for direct assistance to the Antešević family.
The City of Omiš has also opened a special official account, and the funds collected there are intended for fire damage remediation, infrastructure restoration, and providing basic necessities for affected and evacuated residents.
