The charity concert 'Give from the Heart for Kolibrići' will bring together a lineup of performers on August 14, with all proceeds going to the developmental support program for children with disabilities.
The Small Summer Stage in Opatija will become the center of a charity music event on Friday, August 14, 2026. Starting at 8 PM, the concert titled "Give from the Heart for Kolibrići" will feature eight bands with the sole aim of raising funds for a long-standing support program for children with developmental disabilities.
The "Kolibrići" program, run by the "Naša djeca" Society in Opatija, has been active continuously since 2002. Under the expert guidance of an educational rehabilitator, the workshop and playroom has grown into a key support hub for children and their parents. Activities include regular meetings, storytelling sessions, art and creative workshops, as well as a Parents' Club with group workshops and individual counseling.
Thanks to the extension called "Kolibrići plus," developmental support has been expanded to the areas of Lovran, Matulji, and Rijeka, making it accessible to a larger number of families. Organizers emphasize that the concert aims not only to provide financial support but also to draw public attention to the importance of such professional assistance.
Visitors can expect a rich musical program lasting over four hours. Degenerali will take the stage first at 8:30 PM, followed just half an hour later at 9:00 PM by Hefest. Next up are Mitraljez at 9:30 PM and Cry Babies at 10:00 PM.
Nola brings an acoustic set at 10:45 PM, followed by Pomelo Chess Society at 11:15 PM. Speedclaw will play exactly at midnight, and the grand finale of the evening, closing the program at 12:40 AM, is entrusted to the band Krešo i Kisele Kiše.
Tickets are priced at 15 euros and can be purchased at several locations. The Festival Opatija office at the Summer Stage (address Zert 6A) sells them on weekdays from 8 AM to 3 PM. They are also available through the Moje karte system and at their points of sale, including Dallas Music Shop in Rijeka and Petrol and Crodux gas stations. On the day of the concert, the box office at the entrance to the Small Summer Stage from Angiolina Park opens one hour before the program starts.
The concert is organized by Festival Opatija, co-organized by the KOMA Association and the "Naša djeca" Society Opatija. Support for this charity evening has been provided by G1 Security, KRUG pizza bar, Caffe bar TIN, Studio Graphic Opatija, Radio Korzo, Novinet, Zagrebačka banka, and the City of Opatija.
