The Round 3 clash features two teams that have opened the championship with a maximum six points, raising the stakes ahead of Saturday's encounter.
Osijek coach Federico Bessone is aware that his team faces a tough test but emphasizes that the coaching staff has been working on building a winning mentality from the start. According to him, the team is on the right track, but there can be no complacency against the Zagreb rivals.
"As we announced last week, we are trying to create a winning mentality, and we are on the right track. Our main goal, which we highlighted at the presentation, is to bring fans back to the stadium, and given how things are going, we are quite excited about that. Against Lokomotiva, we must not relax for a moment, regardless of the fact that both teams have six points. We will need to stay focused for all 90 minutes, and I stress this again as I did before our earlier matches. I believe it will be a good game, and if we want to win, we will have to be at the right level," Bessone told HRT.
Bringing fans back to the stands is one of the main goals of the new coaching staff, and Bessone believes that good performances and wins can restore a positive atmosphere around the club. The support of the crowd at Opus Arena could be a significant advantage for the hosts, especially in moments when the match becomes uncertain.
