Showman Boki 13 shared heartbreaking details in his podcast about the fate of the impressive clothing collection the legendary songwriter had amassed over the years.
After the death of one of the region's greatest songwriters, Marina Tucaković, a vast collection of clothing remained, for which she rented a special apartment. Now, the well-known showman Boki 13 has revealed what her husband, composer Aleksandar Futa Radulović, decided to do with that impressive fashion archive.
Boki 13, who shared a long-standing friendship with Marina, recounted in his podcast, with Jelena Karleuša as the guest, what her passion for shopping looked like. "Marina Tucaković had an apartment she rented exclusively for the clothes she bought non-stop, so much so that she no longer even knew everything she had," he said.
He then revealed the fate of that wardrobe. "I heard that Futa put it all in black bags and gave it to the women who worked in the house," Boki 13 recounted.
Futa Radulović himself did not wish to comment on this story. When asked about his private life after his wife's death, including speculation about a new relationship, he remained reserved. "These are private matters I never discuss; let others say whatever they want, I know what I think. I have nothing to deny or confirm; I simply don't want to deal with it," the composer stated.
While memories of Marina and her work are not fading, a series inspired by her life and creativity is soon hitting the small screen. Filming of the first season of the series "Marina and Futa" is nearing its end. The roles of Marina and her husband have been entrusted to Milica Janevski and Danilo Lončarević.
The series will also feature characters of numerous music stars the couple collaborated with. Lepa Brena will be played by Jelena Jovičić, Dragana Mirković by Aleksandra Belošević, while Miloš Petrović Trojpec will appear in the role of Oliver Mandić.
