Data released on Monday by Dubrovniknet show that the negative trend is also evident on a cumulative basis, from the beginning of the year to the end of July. In the first seven months of 2026, there were 1,241,164 arrivals and 4,816,631 overnight stays. The number of overnight stays is one percent lower than in the same period in 2025, while the number of arrivals remained at last year's level.

Brits Lead by a Wide Margin, Followed by Poles and Slovenes

The most numerous guests in the county during July were citizens of the United Kingdom, who accounted for 255,704 overnight stays. In second place were guests from Poland with 184,073 overnight stays, followed by Slovenes with 163,729 overnight stays. Among the top five nationalities by number of overnight stays in July are also guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina (155,334) and domestic guests from Croatia (143,281).

Looking at the period from January to the end of July, the ranking is somewhat different.
