Summary
  • Noah Nsoki (19) has signed a five-year contract with Dinamo, arriving for free from PSG.
  • PSG will receive 50 percent of any future transfer of the young Frenchman.
  • Dinamo is also expecting the arrivals of midfielder Kiril Kravtsov and Ghanaian talent Fuzy Taylor soon.

Dinamo officially confirmed on Saturday what had been rumored for days. Young French striker Noah Nsoki (19) is the new player of the Croatian champions, the club announced on its social media channels with a special video and photos from Maksimir. Nsoki passed his medical and signed a contract until the summer of 2031. He will be immediately integrated into Mario Kovačević's squad, although he will initially work on a special program.

Arrived for Free, but PSG Will Get Half of Any Future Transfer

Although Nsoki arrived without a transfer fee from the current European champions, Dinamo and PSG have agreed on an interesting financial arrangement. The earnings from his next transfer will be split 50:50 between the clubs. This ends a multi-week negotiation saga in which the French giants initially demanded €1.5 million in compensation and 20 percent of any future sale, while Dinamo countered with an offer of €700,000 and 10 percent. The final agreement on a 'fifty-fifty' split has nonetheless caused something of a sensation at Maksimir.

Born on February 20, 2007, in Tournan-en-Brie, Nsoki stands 185 centimeters tall and is right-footed. He most often plays on the left wing, but sources agree he can cover other attacking roles. Sportklub describes him as a winger who can also play as an attacking midfielder and as a 'number eight,' while Slobodna Dalmacija notes he is most often seen on the left wing. Sportske novosti highlight that it is precisely for a midfield position that they want him in Dinamo's squad.

From PSG Youth Captain to a New Opportunity in Zagreb

Nsoki joined PSG back in 2020, and in April last year he signed a scholarship contract that tied him to the club until the summer of 2027. Last season, he had the opportunity to train with the first team under Luis Enrique, and he made two official appearances for the Parisian club's senior side-one in the league and one in the Cup. According to Sportske novosti, he was captain in the younger age categories, and Enrique regarded him as one of the academy's top talents.

Competition for playing time in Paris, however, was extremely fierce. At PSG, the wing positions are occupied by Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Désiré Doué, making it extremely difficult for the young player to secure a significant role. This is precisely why Dinamo should be his chance for progress. According to Transfermarkt, he is currently valued at €1 million, and he will wear the number 77 jersey at Maksimir.

Two More Signings on the Way: A Russian and a Ghanaian

While Nsoki's arrival is already completed, Dinamo is preparing two more transfers. Russian defensive midfielder Kiril Kravtsov (24) is still waiting for his visa. The former Zenit St. Petersburg player spent the last four years at Sochi, and his contract expired on June 30. He is expected to arrive at Maksimir on a free transfer and, if he passes his medical, sign a four-year contract.

Also on his way to Zagreb is Ghanaian Fuzy Taylor (18), a defensive midfielder from Ghanaian champions Medeama SC. He is also stuck in visa procedures, and the club expects him at the beginning of next week. Sources at Maksimir told Sportske novosti that they have high hopes for him.

We have high hopes for Taylor. He is extremely talented and strong, and he plays in a way that resembles computer logic. He will start in the B team, but he will also train with the A team; at 17, he was the best midfielder in Ghana. He spent the whole year playing with the seniors. Of course, he needs to adapt a bit and gain confidence, because he is still young, at 18. That's why he starts in the B team, but we will soon see him in Mario Kovačević's roster.

Taylor, therefore, will start in the second team, but the plan is for him to quickly become part of the senior roster.
