Kim Kardashian's estate in Hidden Hills, California, became the scene of real drama over the weekend. According to TMZ, a 27-year-old man broke onto the reality star's property, stole an employee's car, and took a joyride through the neighborhood before being arrested.
The incident was reported to police on Sunday at 3:45 p.m., as reported by The Sun. A security guard spotted the suspect carrying items out of the house and loading them into a vehicle, after which he got behind the wheel and drove off. The sheriff's office was immediately contacted, and deputies quickly surrounded the luxury villa and took the suspect into custody without resistance. No weapons were found on the man, and no one was injured.
While police claim the 27-year-old entered the house, sources close to Kim Kardashian have disputed this version of events. According to them, the suspect never set foot inside the residence itself. They add that there are currently no personal belongings of the celebrity entrepreneur in the villa, as extensive renovation work is underway, and she and her children have been living in rented accommodation for several months.
This is not the first time Kim Kardashian has faced serious security threats.
