Diomande's former club, Leganes, will also benefit financially from the transfer. Under the agreement between the parties, the Spanish club will receive approximately 5% of the profit from the player's transfer.
RB Leipzig has already allowed Diomande to travel for his medical and contract signing in Madrid. The German club has already lined up two to three replacements.
Diomande impressed last season in the Bundesliga with Leipzig, and further caught the public's attention with his performances for the Ivory Coast national team. He particularly stood out at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 World Cup.
This transfer is shaping up to be one of the most expensive of the window, and Real Madrid continues its tradition of bringing top young talents into its ranks.
