Dugovača Cove in Drage will become the stage for a unique sporting event on August 22. The Ares Diabolik Boxing Club is organizing the fourth edition of the international event Croatian Knights, which this year will take place right on the seafront, just a few meters from the water.
Since its inception, the event has carried a strong symbolic tribute to Croatian veterans. After successfully holding the 4th Damir Zrilić Memorial on Zadar's Forum this spring, the organizers from Ares Diabolik decided to move the ring from the historic pavement to a unique location.
Dugovača Cove, with its special setting where the boxing ring is placed right by the sea and illuminated by floodlights under the open sky, will provide fighters and the audience with a backdrop rarely seen in Olympic boxing.
The ring is expected to feature clashes between domestic and international fighters, from promising young talents to seasoned national team members and winners of national and international medals. For Croatian boxers, this is a key opportunity to prove themselves through quality international bouts in front of home fans.
The aim of the event is to highlight core sporting values-courage, discipline, sacrifice, and unity.
The event in Drage will not remain solely within the confines of a sporting competition. The organizing team promises a rich accompanying program, which will include musical and stage performances, as well as numerous surprises for audiences of all ages. Details about this part of the evening will remain under wraps until just before the spectacle itself.
The fourth Croatian Knights thus continues to position Drage and the municipality of Pakoštane as a significant hub for summer sports and entertainment events in Zadar County, combining top-tier boxing, emotion, and paying homage to those who contributed the most to the homeland.
