Rijeka's audience will have the opportunity this Friday to enjoy a performance by Rišpet, one of the most sought-after Dalmatian bands in recent years. Their concert is scheduled for August 14, 2026, at Trsat Castle, starting at 9 PM, as part of the Ljeto na Gradini event.
From Split Roots to Sold-Out Halls
The story of Rišpet began in 2011 in Split, at the initiative of experienced composer and producer Pero Kozomara. Ivo Amulić emerged as the band's signature vocal. In nearly 15 years on the scene, the band has developed a distinctive musical style that blends Dalmatian tradition, polyphonic singing, and elements of pop music, winning over fans across the country.
Their path to stardom is paved with hits like "Ćaća," "Lumin," "Reći ćeš mi fala," "Šta mi ljube oćeš kazat," "Kada ljubav dvije duše spoji," and "Maka, maka." Their discography also features notable duets, including "Sunce mi od tebe dolazi" with the legendary Mišo Kovač and "Prsti zapleteni" with Jelena Rozga.
Grand Prix and Four Cesarica Awards
A key moment in their career came in 2013 when they won the Grand Prix at the Split Festival with the song "Ćaća." Successes followed, and over the years they have received four prestigious Cesarica awards in the category of hit of the year in klapa music. Their popularity is also evidenced by numerous sold-out concerts, including performances at Zagreb's Lisinski Hall.
Dalmatian Musical Magic at the Castle
Now, Rijeka's audience will experience that energy in the unique setting of Trsat Castle. Organizers promise an evening filled with Dalmatian melodies, rich harmonies, and strong emotions. This event is part of the rich Ljeto na Gradini program, which runs from June to September at Trsat and hosts many prominent names from the domestic music scene.
Tickets for the concert can be purchased online through the Entrio system for 15 euros. Organizers have confirmed that tickets will also be available on the day of the performance at the entrance to Trsat Castle.
