Virovitica is gearing up for its biggest annual event. Rokovo, which marks City Day and the feast of the city's patron saint, Saint Roch, will transform the city into a hub of entertainment, music, and socializing from August 13 to 16, 2026. Organizers have announced eight major concerts and a rich accompanying program that will fill the city's streets and squares.
"Rokovo has long symbolized the city's life, unity, and identity," said Mayor Ivica Kirin, inviting everyone to join the four-day celebration that attracts thousands of visitors.
From Graša to Urban: Eight Concerts in Four Days
The official opening of the event is scheduled for Thursday, August 13. The program kicks off with a traditional parade by the Virovitica City Orchestra and the Virovitica Majorettes, with a special touch brought by the arrival of Count and Countess Pejačević. On the first evening, Petar Graša takes the stage, and the Wine Park and Street Food Zone open their doors, available throughout the event.
Friday, August 14, is reserved for the Dubrovnik band Silente, while the Wine Park will host jazz and tamburitza concerts as well as a stand-up program. A new addition this year is a DJ program that will entertain the crowd in the Street Food Zone after the main concerts.
The central day of the event is Saturday, August 15. During the day, Virokreativa will feature creative workshops and exhibitions, and the evening belongs to Doris Dragović. Shortly after midnight, on the city's birthday itself, Adi Šoše will entertain the audience.
On the final day, Sunday, August 16, the program begins with a traditional morning wake-up call, followed by a solemn Mass and procession in honor of Saint Roch. The evening portion opens with the 11th VT Rock Fest, followed by Urban & 4 taking the stage.
