Popular singer Severina held a spectacular concert at the Desant Festival in Jajce on August 2, 2026. During her performance, which lasted more than two hours, she delivered her greatest hits and captivated the audience with her engaging interaction, as reported by Klix.ba.
Before the pop star took the stage, DJ Damjan Eltech, known for his unique blending of techno rhythms with pop and folk songs, built up the crowd's excitement. Severina openly expressed her admiration for the surroundings, repeatedly approaching the edge of the stage by the waterfall to take in the natural beauty of Jajce.
The special moment of the evening came when, at the audience's urging, she sang Halid's "Ljiljani," sparking widespread delight. This unexpected song choice further elevated the already vibrant atmosphere at the festival, now in its seventh year.
Today's finale of the Desant Festival is reserved for a more relaxed, daytime event on the beach of the Small Pliva Lake, near the iconic Mlinčići. According to Klix.ba, visitors will have the chance to enjoy swimming, barbecue, and another performance by DJ Damjan Eltech.
The main mission of the Desant Festival, which for seven years has brought together top domestic, regional, and international performers in the "Royal City," is to promote the natural and cultural wealth of Jajce as the main stars of the event.
The festival is organized by the Desant Consortium and the Public Institution "Agency for Cultural-Historical and Natural Heritage and Development of Tourism Potential of the City of Jajce." The festival is held with the support of the Municipality of Jajce, led by Mayor Edin Hozan, as well as the Government of the Central Bosnia Canton and the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism. This year, the festival is supported by the local company Inova from Jajce, which specializes in the development and production of high-efficiency heat pumps and heating and cooling systems.
