The final evening of the festival's first cycle at the Meštrović Gallery drew enormous interest, but tickets for the remaining four performances are still on sale.
The final evening of the first Vibrez Festival cycle, featuring legendary British trip-hop band Morcheeba on August 30, 2026, is completely sold out. Organizers from the Croatian House in Split confirmed the news on Thursday, emphasizing that the audience has recognized the festival's unique concept.
This concept combines top-tier music with art and a Mediterranean ambiance under the stars, and the sold-out concert only confirms the growing interest in this type of event. Morcheeba will thus round off five concert evenings held from August 26 to 30 in the garden of the Meštrović Gallery.
The festival will open on Wednesday, August 26, with Scottish band Mogwai, one of the most influential names in the global post-rock scene, known for their monumental sound and performances of exceptional emotional power. The following day, Thursday, August 27, the stage will be taken over by Mariza, one of the world's most significant fado interpreters, bringing an evening steeped in emotion and Portuguese musical temperament to Split.
Friday, August 28, is reserved for Italian singer Mario Biondi and his distinctive blend of soul, jazz, and Mediterranean warmth. Saturday evening, August 29, will be marked by a performance by Laibach, the cult Slovenian collective that has been merging music, theater, and striking visual identity on the European avant-garde scene for decades.
Although the finale of the first cycle is sold out, music lovers can still secure their spot for the remaining four concert evenings. Organizers warn that interest is growing day by day and urge the audience to purchase tickets in advance for performances by Mogwai, Mariza, Mario Biondi, and Laibach.
Tickets are available via the Adriaticket.hr platform and at the box office of the Croatian House Split. The Vibrez Festival 2026 brings a total of eight concerts by top international artists, held in two cycles: the first from August 26 to 30 at the Meštrović Gallery, while the second cycle takes place from September 7 to 9 at Split's Peristyle.
