Residents and visitors of two towns in Zadar County will have to temporarily adapt to life without electricity on Wednesday. According to information from HEP, as reported by Zadarski list, the power supply will be interrupted in the areas of Sukošan and Tribanj.
Different Reasons for the Interruption
Although both towns will be affected by the outage, the reasons are different. In Tribanj, specifically in the Kozjača area, the interruption is due to planned works on the power grid. On the other hand, Sukošan will be without power due to an unplanned fault that requires urgent intervention by field crews.
Exact Times and Locations
HEP has released a precise schedule of interruptions for Wednesday, August 12, 2026:
- Sukošan: area around the large football field, from 08:30 to 12:00
- Tribanj: Kozjača area, from 08:00 to 11:00
Residents of the mentioned areas should therefore plan their activities according to the announced times and prepare for the period without electricity, for example by charging their phones and other essential devices in advance.
HEP has not released additional details about the nature of the fault in Sukošan or the scope of the planned works in Tribanj.
