Four people were injured in a serious traffic accident that occurred on Monday afternoon in the Rovinj area. The collision happened around 2:40 PM, and according to initial reports, two vehicles were involved.
The Rovinj police received the report of the accident at 2:40 PM. According to data from Istra Terra Magica, the collision occurred near the village of Putini, at the intersection of state road DC303 and county road ŽC50128, not far from the Lim Channel, at the turnoff for Rovinj and Kanfanar. On the other hand, 24sata reports that the accident happened near the village of Brajkovići, on the road from Rovinj to Kanfanar.
Due to the investigation and the response of emergency services, traffic on this stretch is moving slowly. The Istria Police Department has not yet released details about the circumstances and dynamics of the collision, noting that police procedures are ongoing.
In addition to the police, members of the Rovinj Public Fire Brigade also responded to the incident. As reported by 24sata, there were six firefighters with two vehicles on the scene. In addition, three emergency medical vehicles were deployed, which speaks to the seriousness of the collision.
