The concert in Vukovar on August 29 is already breaking interest records, and organizers have developed the Sportify Events platform to handle the massive demand.
Interest in Marko Perković Thompson's concert in Vukovar has reached unprecedented levels. Just hours after ticket sales began on Saturday at noon, approximately 80,000 tickets had been sold, Thompson's management confirmed. This number comes from Croatia and abroad, clearly demonstrating the immense interest in the event scheduled for August 29.
To address the challenges of mass sales, the musician's team made a bold move-launching their own online ticket sales system. The Sportify Events platform, owned by Marko Perković Thompson's management, made its debut with this concert. Although occasional slowdowns were reported due to the high number of simultaneous users, the organizers state that sales are proceeding continuously.
"This is also the first online ticket sale through the Sportify Events system, a platform owned by the team led by Marko Perković Thompson's management," the team announced.
Beyond the numbers, the management also announced a spectacular production that, they claim, will rank this concert among the largest musical events in the country. The audience can expect an impressive stage, top-tier lighting and sound effects, and a specially designed program featuring a large number of drones that will create unique visuals in the Vukovar sky.
"We are looking forward to a world-class production that will make this concert one of the most spectacular musical events in Croatia," the organizers stated.
Vukovar's mayor, Marijan Pavliček, in cooperation with Thompson's team, has secured ample space and all necessary organizational conditions. The goal is for everyone who wishes to attend to have the opportunity to purchase their ticket and be part of an evening of unity. The organizers expressed gratitude for the great interest, trust, and patience during the first day of sales and invited those who have not yet secured their tickets to continue monitoring availability through the Sportify Events system.
