"The police once again warn drivers not to get behind the wheel after consuming alcohol. They advise using public transportation, taxis, or arranging a ride with a sober driver, as well as extra caution during weekends. Driving under the influence not only endangers your own life but also the safety of all other road users," the Vukovar-Srijem Police Department stated.
Budica Info also relays an additional warning from the police: "The police once again warn drivers that alcohol and driving simply do not mix. Even the smallest amount of alcohol can affect driving ability, slow reactions, and increase the risk of a traffic accident."
