Dr. Natalija Dunić told RTL Danas that measuring stations have recorded meteotsunamis at several locations, and conditions for their formation could become more frequent due to record sea temperatures.

Meteotsunami Floods Waterfront in Stari Grad, Brač on Alert
In Stari Grad, around 1:30 PM, the sea rose about 40 centimeters above average and overflowed onto the waterfront. DHMZ issued an orange warning for the coast, and firefighting units on Brač have been placed on the highest state of alert.
