The long-awaited moment for fans of the Japanese brand and those considering a switch to electric power has finally arrived. The Suzuki e-Vitara, the first fully electric vehicle in the company's history, has been physically available for viewing and test drives at Suzuki Dalmatia showrooms, specifically at the ATT & Perfekt auto dealership, since August 5, 2026.
This model represents a completely new philosophy for Suzuki, built around the idea of 'Emotional Versatile Cruiser,' combining advanced technology with a robust SUV body. The e-Vitara's design gives the impression of a vehicle made for adventure, with large-diameter tires, a long wheelbase, and a modern interior with an integrated display-and it's not a gasoline model retrofitted with a battery.
The e-Vitara's powertrain is based on a high-efficiency eAxle system that integrates the motor and inverter, paired with lithium iron phosphate batteries known for their safety and longevity. Customers have two battery capacity options: a base 49 kWh and a more powerful 61 kWh. The latter, combined with front-wheel drive (2WD), delivers a factory-declared range of over 420 kilometers.
To put this figure into perspective, Slobodna Dalmacija cites a concrete example: the highway distance from Split to Zagreb is approximately 410 kilometers, nearly identical to the declared range. Although real-world conditions may yield a slightly lower range, this clearly shows that the e-Vitara is no longer a car limited to city driving, but a vehicle with which you can plan a trip from the coast to the capital with perhaps one brief top-up.
For drivers who choose Suzuki because of their trust in the legendary AllGrip all-wheel-drive system, the good news is that this story continues in the electric era. The ALLGRIP-e system uses two independent e-axles, front and rear, for precise torque distribution.
