The young footballer did not hide his excitement at becoming part of one of Italy's biggest clubs, and he particularly stressed that he simply couldn't turn down the call from Turin. A key role in the whole story of his arrival was played by former BiH international and ex-Juventus player Miralem Pjanić.
Alajbegović revealed that Pjanić was in constant contact with his father, as well as with those involved in getting the deal done, which significantly eased the young Dragon's path to Turin.
"First of all, Miralem was a great player and he was also very important for the transfer," Alajbegović told Sky Sport, making it clear how much the experience and advice of his older compatriot meant at a crucial point in his career.
Alajbegović made his first minutes in the new jersey in the match against Inter, a moment he described as something truly special and a source of pride in his career so far. Although he has only just arrived in a new environment, his teammates have made the adjustment much easier.
He has developed the closest relationship with Turkish international Kenan Yıldız. The two speak in German on a daily basis, and Yıldız is helping him get used to life in Turin and the club's demands as quickly as possible.
"Kenan is an incredible player, and I really get along well with him," Alajbegović emphasized.

When it comes to football role models, he singled out Lionel Messi without any hesitation. Off the pitch, he says he leads a quiet life, spending his free time mostly on PlayStation, rest, and family.
Although he didn't want to put specific numbers on goals and assists, he made it clear that pressure doesn't scare him-it only motivates him further. "I want to play, score goals, provide assists, and above all help the team," Alajbegović concluded.
