The National Arabian Horse Show will be held on September 12 and 13 in Gudovac, featuring competitions in the categories of purebred Arabian and Arabian horse.
In September, Gudovac will once again host breeders and enthusiasts of Arabian horses. The National Arabian Horse Show, featuring two national championships and a display of the finest specimens from domestic breeding, will take place on September 12 and 13, 2026, as part of the Bjelovar Fair.
The event is jointly organized by the Bjelovar Fair and the Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food. Visitors will have the opportunity to see one of the most famous and oldest horse breeds in the world, known for its endurance, harmonious build, elegance of movement, and distinctive appearance.
A special part of the program includes two national championships. The best horses will compete in the categories of purebred Arabian and Arabian horse, providing breeders with an opportunity to showcase the results of years of selective and breeding work.
Over the centuries, the Arabian horse has played a prominent role in the history of horse breeding, and its genetic contribution is evident in many other breeds. Therefore, the National Show in Gudovac represents more than just a fair event; it is an opportunity to promote local breeding, protect important bloodlines, and network breeders.
With this program, the Bjelovar Fair continues to expand its offerings for livestock and horse breeding. Two days in September in Gudovac will be of particular interest to those for whom horses are more than just a fair attraction, and the best specimens, national titles, and the tradition of Arabian horse breeding will once again be presented to the public.
