On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, the tenth Airbus A220 landed directly from the Airbus factory in Mirabel, Canada, the national carrier announced. It is an A220-300 model, registration 9A-CAS, named 'Velika Gorica', and represents a world first: it is the first aircraft of its type to have been painted from the outset in the distinctive livery of the Star Alliance.
