Novak Djokovic, widely regarded as the greatest tennis player of all time, was seen in a relaxed moment while swimming among ordinary bathers on the Adriatic coast. The Serbian athlete, who holds the record with 24 Grand Slam trophies, is currently staying at his luxury apartment in Portonovi, Montenegro, where he is resting ahead of a demanding schedule of American tournaments.
Every year, Djokovic chooses Montenegro with his family for his annual vacation, and this season is no different. In addition to enjoying the sea, the tennis star regularly takes the opportunity for individual training sessions and runs along the beach. However, what draws the most attention are his frequent interactions with enthusiastic fans.
An hour rarely passes without someone approaching Djokovic for a selfie or an autograph. He patiently fulfills every request, and the latest footage shows him in the water, swimming among other bathers, completely carefree.
A post on platform X featured a video of Djokovic in the sea. "When you realize the greatest of all time is right here beside us," wrote one fan, and his words quickly went viral among tennis enthusiasts.
The vacation on the Adriatic will be short-lived. Djokovic is scheduled to compete at the Cincinnati tournament in mid-August, which runs from August 13 to 23, 2026. After that, the US Open, the final Grand Slam of the season, is on the calendar, taking place from August 30 to September 13, 2026.
At the 2023 US Open, Djokovic claimed his last, 24th Grand Slam title, further cementing his status as the most successful player in tennis history.
